Uncovered: RFK Jr. Implied Violent January 6th Rioters Were Patriotic
During a May interview on the Health Ranger Report show, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. implied January 6th protestors were patriotic, even after acknowledging some were violent. Kennedy also defended those who claim elections can be stolen.
"We have to acknowledge there's problems with the electoral process and the possibility that elections get stolen is out there. People aren't crazy when they say that. As you know, there's a large number of Americans who went to Capitol Hill and engaged in the January 6th demonstrations and with violence and everything else because they believe that our elections were to be stolen and the response to that should not be, "Oh, you're unpatriotic, you're un-American for saying that elections that elections could be stolen.' Elections can be manipulated in this country and we need to fix that."
Robert Kennedy Jr.'s January 6th comments are very similar to those of MAGA Republicans who are currently defending Trump against his indictments. Robert Kennedy Jr. is running against President Joe Biden for the Democratic Party nomination. Trump is currently under indictment for his activities leading up to January 6th.
