Trump launched an unhinged attack on Kamala Harris late last night. Trump attempted to project cognitive concerns about himself onto his opponent, the same kind of attacks he used to level against Joe Biden.

Trump’s late night rant called for his opponent to “pass a test on cognitive stamina and agility.” A grasping Trump cited a 60 Minutes promo edit of an interview with Harris that didn’t match the broadcast version was evidence of that his opponent needs to be tested.
Without citing any evidence, Trump claimed Harris is a liar and is “slow and lethargic” in answering questions and then implied his opponent is like Joe Biden. Trump may be tapping into some racial tropes by questioning Kamala Harris’ ability to think and attacking her for being lethargic.
