Trump Posts MAGA Rap Video Calling His Black Supporters the N-Word
This one is a doozy. In case you missed it, MAGA rappers exist and often produce cringe moments attempting to mesh hip hop culture with MAGA Republican topics.
On Truth Social Monday, Trump posted a grainy clip from new MAGA rapper named “Black Donald Trump.” Black Donald Trump’s new single “Black MAGA” claims “Trump is the first Black president” and “every [n-word] …is voting for Trump.”
Trump’s posted a good size portion of the rap video for the song, but not the entire thing. The full rap video contains twerking, a dance often ridiculed by MAGA Republican types. One dancer is twerking next to a Donald Trump look-a-like.
Trump’s post of the MAGA rap video mentions Trump’s viral Chick-fil-A hug with what appeared to be a random customer who turned out to be a MAGA Republican operative. That story was first reported by MeidasTouch.
Rapper and internet micro-celebrity Woah Vicky made an appearance in the video Trump posted. Vicky once made a racist song mocking the Asian heritage of a YouTuber.
The song’s cover graphic appears to be an AI generated blackface Trump. The song repeats over and over again that Trump was “the first Black president” and not Obama.
Blacks for Trump leader Maurice Symonette also appears in the video with others from his group.
Symonette has posted racist and bizarre conspiracies to his webpage and often appears at Trump rallies behind Trump.
Another person from Symonette’s group is wearing a shirt that said, “Trump & Republicans are not racist.”
MAGA rapper Forgiato Blow made an appearance too. The MAGA rapper has been producing songs for new MAGA rappers and had previously released a song about killing his girlfriend and dumping her body in a lake. In that video, the rapper has a Trump Train flag on his boat as he jets away to dump the body.
The rap lyrics also attack food stamp usage, push election denialism, proclaims that Black patriots exist, and repeatedly proclaims [n-words] will be voting for Trump on Election Day.
That is true, Black people are not a monolith and Black Republicans do exist. Some even recently called out Charlie Kirk for anti-MLK comments. It’s unclear if the video posted by Trump proclaiming [n-words] will vote for Trump in November will be received. The song is currently not on the top 200 iTunes list, but Trump is trying to give it more life.
While it’s not uncommon for the n-word to appear in rap lyrics, this may be the first time a candidate for office has posted a song calling his Black supporters the n-word. It’s doubtful this song will attract more voters that it repels.
