Trump Demands Fox News Change Hosts Covering His Trial

Before court on Tuesday, Trump took to Truth Social to demand that Fox News change who is covering New York criminal trial.

Trump said, “Fox News should let Judge Jeanine cover the trial, not Eric Shawn, who has no clue what’s going on - Just another RINO.” Last week, Trump tried to give direction to Shawn regarding his coverage, wanting the Fox News host to read pro-Trump lawyer Gregg Jarrett analysis of the trial.

It looks like Trump didn't like the coverage Shawn continued to provide and is now demanding Fox News switch him out for Fox News host Jeanine Pirro. Trump previously told his Truth Social followers to tune into Pirro who then carried out what would have been gag order violations if Trump has said them.

Trump was seen talking to Jeanine Pirro in New York court beforehand and is close friend of Trump. This begs the question, as raised by MeidasTouch Editor-in-Chief Ron Filipkowski, did Trump direct Jeanine Pirro to violate the gag order for him? 

If so, directing others to violate the gag order is itself a violation of the gag order. Is Trump now demanding that Fox News install his gag order hit woman Jeanine Pirro to cover his trial? He may very well have just done so.
