Trump Allies Kari Lake and Marjorie Taylor Greene Appeared in a Project 2025 Promotion Video

Both Republicans are endorsed by Trump

Desperate Trump continues to try and fail at distancing himself from Project 2025. The group is proposing extreme policies and is staffed by former Trump officials.

Trump has cited the group behind Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation, multiple times on his campaign page. Trump has spoken at Heritage Foundation events and praised Project 2025 founder Kevin Roberts by name twice this year.

The group also welcomed attendees to the RNC Convention and hosted a "Policy Fest" event for those gathered to formally nominate Trump as the official Republican presidential candidate.

MeidasTouch has now discovered that Kari Lake and Marjorie Taylor Greene made an appearance in a Project 2025 promotion video. Project 2025 made the video during their visit to CPAC in March of 2023.

The group had a booth at the Trump headlined event and posted the video with Green and Lake to social media multiple times.

In the Project 2025 video, Marjorie Taylor Greene stated, "What happens usually is that the beliefs that we hold back at home somehow get lost along the way to Washington."

Lake, who is lost her bid for Arizona governor in 2022 and is now running for US Senate, made the following comment in the Project 2025 video:

"You have to have thick skin. We have to get beyond being bothered by what words they're going to call us."

Both Lake and Greene are endorsed by Trump. Former Trump officials John McEntee, James Bacon, Spencer Chretien, and Donna Jackson also appear in the video.

The discovery of Greene and Lake in a Project 2025 promotional video can't help Trump as he fails to escape his obvious connections to the extreme policy proposals of the group.
