Terrified Trump Posts 1:00 AM Message After Jack Smith Motion
A Donald Trump spokesperson is trying to do major damage control after Trump made a threatening post on Friday that may have violated the terms of his release from the criminal case that was just brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith. Donald Trump posted on his social media: “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!”
Within hours of Donald Trump making that post, Special Counsel Jack Smith immediately filed a motion for a protective order with the federal judge in Washington D.C. presiding over the case, informing the judge of the dangerous post made by Donald Trump. Many legal observers believed that the no-nonsense federal judge presiding over Trump’s criminal case, federal judge Tanya Chutkan, could impose serious consequences on Donald Trump based on his threats. Here is the relevant portion of the protective order filed by Jack Smith.
Donald Trump has become clearly terrified and at around 1:00 AM on Saturday, had his spokesperson issue the following the statement:
“The Truth post cited is the definition of political speech, and was in response to the RINO, China-loving, dishonest special interest groups and Super PACs, like the ones funded by the Koch brothers and the Club for No Growth.”
Here is the statement as it appears on Donald Trump’s campaign website:
It is obvious that Trump is terrified and just blinked.
Earlier in the day, Democratic Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi called Donald Trump a “scared puppy.” Check out the video here:
