RFK Jr Responds To His Family Supporting Biden on St. Patrick's Day
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. went on Chris Cuomo's show on NewsNation to respond to a large number of his own family members traveling to the White House this past St. Patrick's Day to show their support for President Biden in the 2024 election.
"As you know from your family, we don't always agree on things. There are many people in my family who work for the Biden Administration. President Biden is an old friend of my family. I understand that many of them disagree with me on the war in Ukraine. They disagree with me on covid, on some of the public health issues. They disagree with me the free speech issue. We can disagree with each other in a friendly way and still love each other."
RFK Jr did find a silver lining though. His says that he is glad that his family's disgust with him has been a unifying thing for them:
"They look very happy in that photograph. It's very exhilarating. It's intoxicating being in the White House. I'm glad I got to - I played a role, I think, in facilitating that visit to the White House and bringing them all such happiness, so I'm happy about that."
As with all things RFK Jr, just a bizarre thing to say.
He concluded the interview by saying that he hopes some of his family members asked Biden to give him Secret Service protection, which is has been complaining about for months.
