Graham Allen, a MAGA influencer and podcaster recently appointed to a senior advisory role at the Department of Defense under Pete Hegseth, has rejoined his “Dear America” show while continuing to work for the federal government as a special government employee without a salary. Allen’s dual role as both a DOD special government employee and right-wing media personality blurs the lines between government work and partisan media.

Allen originally took a break from his show to work for Hegseth at the DOD. During his return to his show, Allen dismissed the authority of federal courts, encouraged Donald Trump to ignore judicial rulings, and launched personal attacks on journalists, referring to reporters Dan Lamothe as “Dan La Wiener” and Jim LaPorta as “Jim La Port-a-potty.”
Pete Hegseth DOD hire Graham Allen went on an unhinged rant against media, revealing nicknames they have for reporters: “Dan Lamothe, we call him Dan La Wiener. Jim LaPorta, we call him Jim La Port-a-potty.”

He didn’t spare his own colleagues either, thanking only “the 0.03%” of Pentagon staff whom he deemed competent and calling Washington, D.C., “the devil’s butthole.”
Pete Hegseth’s DOD appointee Graham Allen trashed the majority of the people at the Pentagon: “I want to say thank you to the .03% of people that are actually worth a flying you know what at the Pentagon.”

Allen also announced a new deal with Rumble to stream at 9AM weekdays on their live show. Allen signed and held up the contract during the podcast. Allen will be privy to sensitive information as a senior advisor to Hegseth while attempting to ensure his show is successful on Rumble.
While Allen’s fans see his blunt style as refreshing, his dual role raises ethics concerns and his behavior could continue to undermine both the credibility and the professionalism of the defense department.
