Harris Campaign Projects Confidence With Late Breaking Undecided Voters
The Harris campaign is projecting confidence today as internal data in the campaign shows Vice President Harris winning late breaking battleground state voters by double-digit margins. These are voters, according to the campaign, that are located in the seven key battleground states and have made their decisions in this race within the past week.
According to the campaign, a big part of the reason for the late breaking votes stems from Donald Trump's recent Madison Square Garden rally where several speakers made racist, sexist, and xenophobic comments, including comments about Puerto Rico, comparing the island to a pile of garbage in the ocean.
In that same breath, on this afternoon's press call, the Harris campaign noted that they have knocked on over thirteen million doors in the battleground states, and in October alone, they made more than 100 million phone calls into the states.
While the campaign is projecting subtle confidence, it remains committed to working across the battleground states with four days to go as the race is still a "close race" where turnout will ultimately decide who wins the presidency.
Harris is expected to travel across several battleground states and end her campaign in Pennsylvania where she will give her last speech to voters on Monday night.
