This morning, a Georgia judge denied a request by a Georgia Republican official in Fulton County to set up a scenario where the official could refuse to certify the election results.

Certifying election results is mandatory under Georgia law, but in recent months, members of the Georgia Board of Elections have pushed to pass new rules that would make it easier for them to interfere with the certification, even denying certification in extreme circumstances.

Those rules were previously struck down by a judge in Georgia and will not be in effect during tomorrow's election. But, that has not stopped Julie Adams, one of the leading MAGA Fulton County board of elections members from continuing the legal crusade to give her the ability to deny certification.

Earlier this week, Julie Adams filed a writ of mandamus seeking to compel the director of the Fulton County Board of Elections to provide her with election-related information that she deemed "necessary" to fulfill her responsibilities. The court then held an emergency hearing on the issue on November 1st.

Today, days later, the court denied the writ making clear that Adams will not be able to take action that would prevent the certification of the election in Georgia.

This story is just breaking.
