EXCLUSIVE: Michael Cohen To Alert Judge That Trump Left NY Trial Early

Trump told federal judge he needed a delay in the Michael Cohen deposition for his fraud trial, then he left that trial early. Cohen responds.

Michael Cohen gave MeidasTouch co-founder Ben Meiseles an exclusive interview Wednesday where he said he will be informing a federal judge about Trump's decision to leave his NY trial early, despite using that trial as an excuse to avoid being deposed by Cohen, which could be a violation of what Trump represented to the court.

Cohen said, "Part of the order...is that Donald on the 9th of October, just a couple of days from now, is required to return to NY in order to give the deposition. I do believe it is incumbent upon my counsel to notify the court exactly what has transpired."

Trump was originally set to be deposed by Cohen on October 3rd, but the date was moved to October 9th following Trump's declaration that he would be too busy with the NY fraud case.

Trump is fleeing to Florida after a chaotic three days in court in NY, where he repeatedly attacked Judge Engoron and AG Letitia James, and after receiving a gag order for posting online threats against Engoron's law clerk.
