Desantis Brutally Heckled Again at Iowa Fair
As Trump was in the air on the way to Iowa in his plane with the entire FL Republican congressional delegation who has endorsed him, Ron Desantis was hoping to get his "Fair-Side Chat" in with Gov. Kim Reynolds without disruption before they arrived.
But it was not to be.
As Desantis was trying to speak, a group of hecklers loudly blew their whistles causing Reynolds to repeatedly stop the event multiple times. Since nothing like this is ever allowed to happen at his carefully controlled FL events, so Desantis seemed a bit rattled.
Reynolds asked the hecklers to stop, and of course they just got even louder.
After being heckled on stage, Desantis was then repeatedly heckled as he roamed around the fairgrounds. In one incident, a man yelled at him, "You're a disgrace, Ron Desantis."
To add insult to injury, a banner was flying overhead taunting the prickly, thin-skinned Desantis to "Be Likeable."
It is unclear whether the hecklers were Trump supporters or Democrats, since both groups have been harassing poor Ron at the fair this week. Since both sides hate Ron, it can be difficult to tell at any given moment who is expressing their displeasure at his repulsiveness.
