Anti-MLK Charlie Kirk Confirms His Group Is Working Directly With Trump

Kirk has a history of racist and misogynist comments

On a podcast episode Thursday, Trump ally Charlie Kirk confirmed his organization is working directly with the Trump campaign. Kirk has a history of racist and misogynist comments that isolate voters, and Trump apparently has no problem with it.

Kirk and his Turning Point sidekick Andrew Kolvet announced:

Kolvet: "Turning point action's ballot chase initiative, and remind you, we are working directly in coordination with the Trump campaign. That's a new FEC rule and regulation. Charlie, I don't want to get over my skis there, but it's an extension–"

Kirk: "We're allowed to work in harmony on doors and canvassing. That's what the law says."

Let's review some of Kirk's reprehensible attacks. Keep in mind, Kirk and his organization are now working "in harmony" with the Trump campaign.

Black Pilots

Trump attacked Black pilots, expressing fear that they are not properly qualified and implying they are putting his life in danger.

Black Customer Service Agents

Kirk also attacked Black customer service agents, claiming when, as he put it, encounters "a moronic Black woman," he suspects they are an "affirmative action" hire. Kirk believes inclusive hiring goals mean unqualified individuals.

Multiple Attacks on "Bad Guy" MLK

Kirk attacked MLK for months. In this one podcast episode below, Kirk's podcast crew launched a slew of attacks on the civil rights leader. Kirk suggested it was a mistake to pass anti-segregation legislation and called MLK a "bad guy."

Questioned the MLK federal holiday and national monument

Charlie Kirk questioned if there should be a MLK federal holiday and a national monument. Kirk questioned if honoring MLK actually makes the country better.

As a result of some of these attacks, some Black conservatives called Kirk out. Some wanted Trump to take corrective action toward Kirk.

That never happened. Kirk did visit Trump and reported his continued support. Now we know that Kirk's organization is working with the Trump campaign. Kirk's divisive and hateful rhetoric continued on.

Women in Their Early 30's "Not As Attractive"

Kirk also make awful comments about the attractiveness of women in their 30's. The comments drew scorn and condemnation.

Christians Can't Vote Democrat

Kirk claimed that Christians can't vote for Democrats and questioned the faith of any professing believer who does so. Again, these divisive comments drew condemnation.

Everything that Kirk says and does is now tied to Trump. Why would someone like Trump who got sued for racial discrimination toward Black renters care if Kirk attacks MLK or makes racist comments?

Trump does need every vote, but also wants Kirk's organization's help. Trump is choosing assistance with knocking on doors and canvasing instead of standing up for what it right. Trump will be speaking at two of Kirk's events in Phoenix and Detroit in June.
